- Die Maschine wurde von mehreren deutschen Jägern attackiert, dabei wurde das dritte Triebwerk in Brand geschossen. Dadurch sackte die Maschine aus der Formation ab und wurde wieder von Jägern angegriffen. Das Flugzeug ging in den Sturzflug über, wobei sich ein Teil der Besatzung aus der Maschine retten konnte.
