- Die Maschine wurde von einer Flak-Batterie bei Christkindl (4/342) und einer Schweren Flak-Batterie bei Gleink (3/342) sowie deutschen Jgadflugzeugen angeschossen. Brände brachen aus und das Flugzeug zerfiel kurz darauf in der Luft. Ein Teil der Besatzung konnte sich zu Boden retten, andere verbrannten. Die Flugzeugteile schlugen bei Letten, südwestlich von Steyr, am Boden auf.
