- Das Flugzeug wurde vor dem Bombenwurf von Flakgeschossen getroffen, ging, nachdem der Pilot die Maschine nur kurz stabilisieren konnte, in einen spiralförmigen Sturzflug über und schlug wenig später nahe dem Neusiedlersee am Boden auf. Nur zwei Crewmitglieder konnten sich retten.
