- Der Verband wurde von Jägern attackiert, wobei die Maschine getroffen wurde und aus der Formation absackte. Dabei war das Flugzeug so schwer beschädigt worden, dass es schließlich bei Neukirchen bei Altmünster zu Boden kam. Fünf Besatzungsmitglieder gelang es sich mittels Fallschirmsprung aus der abstürzenden Maschine zu retten.
