- Die Maschine wurde von Flakgeschossen getroffen, die den Navigator verletzten und das Sauerstoff-System zerstörten. Das Flugzeug sackte aus der Formation ab und versuchte sowjetisch besetztes Gebiet zu erreichen. Der Pilot konnte die Maschine schließlich in einem Feld landen (Bauchlandung). Die Besatzung wurde sofort von Zivilisten festgenommen und zu einem Schuppen gebracht. Zwei Crewmitglieder gelang es sich zum Flugzeug zurück zu schleichen und dieses in Brand zu setzen. Es brannte völlig aus.
