- Die Maschine war noch in der Formation von Jagdflugzeugen angegriffen worden. Dabei wurde das vierte Triebwerk in Brand geschossen, das Flugzeug sackte sofort aus der Formation. Die Besatzung sprang mit ihren Fallschirmen ab, kurze Zeit später explodierte das Flugzeug.
