Das Flugzeug erhielt einen Flaktreffer im dritten Triebwerk und fiel so hinter die Formation zurück. Die Besatzung kämpfte darum, das Flugzeug in der Luft zu halten - bis sie zu einem zweiten Flak-Gürtel kamen. Hier sprang die Besatzung schließlich ab. Die gesamte Crew überlebte den Absturz.
