- Die Maschine wurde von der Flak abgeschossen. Sie brach auseinander und der vordere Teil explodierte. Zehn Besatzungsmitglieder kamen dabei ums Leben. Nur Miller überlebte, er wurde von der Polizei in Atzenbrugg festgenommen und auf die Luftwaffenbasis Tulln-Langenlebarn verbracht.
