- Die Maschine erhielt über dem Ziel einen direkten Treffer zwischen den beiden Triebwerken. Der Pilot gab der Crew das Zeichen zum Verlassen des Flugzeuges. Das Feuer ging aus und die Maschine konnte später wieder unter Kontrolle gebracht werden. Pilot und Co-Pilot flogen zur Basis nach Italien zurück.
