- Das Flugzeug wurde über Wien von der Flak getroffen. Ein Triebwerk geriet in Brand, der rasch auf die ganze Tragfläche übergriff. Andere Bomberbesatzungen sahen, dass die Maschine in der Luft explodierte und einzelne Teile zu Boden fielen. Einige Fallschirme waren zu sehen.
