- Das Flugzeug wurde über dem Zielgebiet Wien-Heiligenstadt von Flakgeschossen getroffen. Nur mit Mühe konnte der Pilot die Maschine auf Kurs halten. Es folgte sechs weitere Treffer, die die Triebwerke ausfallen ließen. Der Pilot konnte noch den ungarischen Raum erreichen, bevor er das Zeichen zum Notausstieg gab. Alle Besatzungsmitglieder überlebten.
