- Das Flugzeug wurde über Steyr von deutschen Jagdflugzeugen attackiert. Mit brennendem Triebwerk fiel es sofort unter die Formation zurück. Der Pilot flog einmal quer unter der Formation durch und ließ die Bomben notabwerfen Als der Brand nicht mehr zu löschen war, gab der Pilot über Sattledt das Zeichen zum Notausstieg. Die gesamte Crew konnte sich retten und überlebte. Das Flugzeug schlug bei Enns am Boden auf.
