- Das Flugzeug wurde von deutschen Jägern attackiert und stürzte ab. Beinahe die gesamte Besatzung konnte sich retten und kam in zwei voneinander getrennten Gruppen zu Boden. Während ein Großteil in Kriegsgefangenschaft geriet, landeten drei Besatzungsmitglieder in von Partisanen kontrolliertem Gebiet. Da sie verwundet waren, wurden sie in ein Partisanen-Krankenhaus gebracht, wo Wochen später einer der Geretteten seinen Verletzungen erlag.
