- Das Flugzeug fiel kurz nach dem Bombenwurf hinter die Formation zurück und wurde von Jägern attackiert. Nach den ersten Treffern rollte das Flugzeug auf den Rücken. Die Besatzung sprang ab und landete im und nahe des Neusiedlersees. Bei der Gefangennahme dürfte es zu Beschimpfungen und Übergriffen gekommen sein.
