- Die Maschine wurde von Flakgeschossen getroffen, dabei geriet ein Triebwerk in Brand. Die Maschine scherte in Richtung Westen aus dem Verband aus und verlor an Höhe. Die gesamte Crew konnte sich mittels Fallschirm aus der Maschine retten, die schließlich im Kaisertal beim Gasthaus Pflandlhof aufschlug.
