- Die Maschine hatte die Führungsposition in der zweiten Angriffswelle inne. Über dem Ziel erhielt die Maschine einen Direkttreffer in den Bombenschacht sowie in das zweite und dritte Triebwerke, die beide zu rauchen begannen. Die Maschine verlor rasch an Höhe. Die Bombenlast wurde rasch Not abgeworfen. Ein Leichnam wurde später im Flugzeug aufgefunden. Zwei weitere könnten ermordet worden sein.
