Die Maschine fiel über Wien hinter die Formation zurück und wurde schließlich von Flakgeschossen schwer beschädigt. Der Pilot konnte das Flugzeug noch bis Jugoslawien manövrieren, wo die gesamte Besatzung absprang. Die Besatzung konnte mithilfe der dortigen Partisanen zu den alliierten Linien gelangen.
