What did the Holy One, blessed be He? He took the truth and threw it on the ground. Said the ministering angels before the Holy One, blessed be He: “Sovereign of the universe! תכסיס is attested only in Ox 1, K and V. However, it is not clear whether this is the original reading or a later explanation of אלטיכסייה. Pl. תכסיסין 〈tksysyn〉 |takhsisin| is attested in bShab 31a, PesR 17,7, MidrTeh 3,3 (Buber 18a), cf. Krauss, LW 267; AC III 30-31; Levy II 158; Jastrow I 535. Syr. ܛܒܣܝܣ 〈ṭksys〉 |ṭakhsis|, cf. Sokoloff, SL 529.
